AH YES!! I finally finished this piece!!O_O;;;....after many long hours working on it!!

This piece was done for a art exchange for Andrew(www.oceansend.com) as part of a Private Exchange program...lots of characters to choose from..had a hard time picking one for a while...so I went with Garuk, who was among the least drawn characters...

I don't think this turned out too bad...am starting to get the hang of Photoshop a bit...still needs work though!~_~;;;...But considering I've only been using Photoshop since just before Christmas...it's not half bad!^_^;;;....am kind of proud of it!

Well! I won't bore you anymore with my babbling!! ONWARD HO!!!...Let the commenting begin!^_^

I have to Fave this because I am recruiting sword bearing warriors into my kingdom to act as mercenaries. If you feel inspired, I can use a Kilt-clad Scottish Warrior. I have several photographs of such if you need something to go by in my photographic collection, both gallery and scraps.

Nice, very nice. I'd have to say my favorites here are his face and his hair. The hair is highlighted very well, making you see different locks even more clearly without having to line them in. It frames his face very nicely, making it more angular. I rather like the almost bluish tones to the shadows on his face, very unusual, but a very nice accent. Another very natural pose, with the way his arm sits on his thigh. You can see the way it turns, instead of seeming awkward. In terms of background, I'd have to say he blends in fantastically; his feet look to really be on the ground, instead of disconnected as some things will tend to seem. The fact that you can see the light shining through the leaves onto the grass is a lovely touch.

Wow! This is superbly colored... I mean - it looks so professional! It's got a fabulous mood to it also. Even tho the colors are bright, he's got this brooding feeling about him. Nicely executed!

Hmm... the lineart looks a little pixelly and some of the green on the armor looks... I dunno, liquidy? Hard to put into words. Something about it just strikes me as weird. Other than that, this picture is PERFECT. The face is wonderful and the pose is dynamic. Glad I added you to my stalk list so I could see all your new art. =) (Smile)
