WOW!!O_O; I TOTALLY forgot to upload this!>,< D'OH!!

Tis a commissioned piece for , twas a long time in the making, not taking nearly as long as the Young Hunters commission, but I wish I'd gotten it done and to her sooner^^;;

I honestly had a ball working on this one XDehehe...so many lil things to play with and throw in...especially when she left most of it up to me, giving me chara references/descripts and a few suggestions on what she'd like...of course I picked the most involved one XDehe...cause I seem to REALLY love doing that to myself^^;;

All in all, I LOVE how this turned out ^,^V..sure there are a few things I wish I had fixed and whatnot...but oh well...tis good for the moment^_____^V

Done with pen and ink, Copics and Prismacolour markers, coloured pencil and white acrylic paint.

that's fantastic. There's so much detail. The expressions are great ^_^'
Do you ever run into complications when working with multi-media pieces like this, as far as using all the different mediums?

LOL...I really should have posted the size, eh? ^^;;

Twas done on an 11 x 17 bristol board, but the actual image area is 10x15 ^_^ so it's not TERRIBLY big, but big enough for me^^;; I tend to work relatively small and normally don't work bigger than an 8.5 x 11 sheet...this and the Young Hunters commish were special exceptions XD

and yea...those braids were a bit of a bitch both with inking AND colouring^^;;

Thank you dear^_^

actually...nope...I really don't run into complications as I've been working with this sort of techniques for QUITE some time now and I've perfect it a bit~_^

Yeah.. that is a good size, jus big enough to get the detail in but not big enough for when you try and work on it your markers roll away screaming at the sheer size of it. I like working between 5' x 7" or 9" x 12" I found this paper that is so smooth and works sooo well with copic and prismacolor markers that I horde it now... and give it to my international friends as gifts! :D

Very true the braids look like they were a huge pain in the ass to get right and ink ... but the outcome made it sooo worth it, betcha you won't be drawing braids for a while huh? :XD:
